Recognized as a world authority on branding in digital entertainment, Calvin Ayre has appeared on programs such as BNN, VH1, Extra, Careers TV, CNBC and countless others. Ayre also has the distinction of being named one of People magazine's "Hottest Bachelors" and one of Star Magazine's "Most Eligible Billionaire Bachelors". In just over 10 years, Ayre has turned an online gaming company into a billion-dollar global entertainment empire. After the passing of the UIEGA in 2006, the original Bodog was sold to the Kahnawake Gaming Commission licensed Morris Mohawk Gaming Group (MorrisMohawk.ca) of the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawake, Quebec, Canada, making MorrisMohawk.ca the sole owner and operator of the Bodog online gaming brand in the United States. Ayre is also a noted philanthropist and serves as the chairman of his own international charitable foundation. The Calvin Ayre Foundation carries out a number of charitable initiatives and focuses on such global issues as the environment, animal welfare and education for disadvantaged youth. In spring of 2008, Ayre announced his retirement.
