System Security
A site is considered secure if all sensitive information that is transmitted between the user's browser and the site's web server is encrypted (scrambled so that someone looking at the data over the Internet cannot read it). At Bodog Sportsbook, Casino & Online Poker, this means that when you open an account, purchase eCash online, provide any sensitive information or utilize any other Bodog Sportsbook, Casino & Online Poker functionality, the pages will be encrypted. Your password is one-way encrypted so absolutely no one, including Bodog Sportbook, Casino & Online Poker, has access to it. Bodog Sportsbook, Casino & Online Poker staff have no need to request your password, nor should they. General information pages, such as this page, are not encrypted as they do not contain any sensitive information. How Do I Know a Page is Secure?Your browser will indicate that you are viewing a secure page by displaying a special icon. Netscape Navigator uses a key icon at the bottom of your browser, and Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Communicator and Mozilla FireFox use a lock icon. In addition, if you have not changed your web browser's configuration, both Microsoft's and Netscape's browsers will display an additional dialog box each and every time you view a secure page, indicating that the page you are about to view is secure.
